Where the journey began

Every journey begins with a first step. For our Boeing 787-9, that step began in North Charleston, South Carolina, inside Boeing’s state-of-the-art facility, where wings, engines, and fuselage came together to create one of the most advanced aircraft in the world, before it begins its path to Riyadh.

Once assembled, the aircraft entered the paint hangar, where layers of Riyadh Air’s pearlescent livery were masterfully applied, painted, polished, and perfected to reflect the Kingdom’s identity and vision for the future of global aviation.

Tested to perfection

Before joining the fleet, the aircraft undergoes rigorous testing by Boeing experts. Ground checks, multiple flight trials, and performance reviews ensuring that every standard of safety and reliability is met. Only then is it ready to join our fleet.

A proud arrival

After final inspections, the aircraft should begin its ferry flight across the Atlantic, towards the Kingdom’s capital city of Riyadh. As the newest symbol of the Kingdom’s ambition, it stands ready to showcase the warm Saudi hospitality to the world.
