We recognize the inconvenience and uncertainty caused by the disruption at Riyadh Airport on 10 October 2026 and sincerely thank you for your patience while recovery efforts have been underway. Riyadh Air has been working closely with the relevant authorities to secure the release and return of checked baggage that remained at the airport following the disruption.

Important: These arrangements apply only to checked baggage only affected by the disruptions at Riyadh Airport on 10 October 2026. The collection and delivery arrangements on this page apply only to checked baggage handed over by the airport authorities to Riyadh Air and confirmed to be in Riyadh Air’s custody. These arrangements do not cover cabin baggage or other personal items left on the aircraft. Please continue to check this website for updates on the next steps for those items.

Where our records show that a tag number of checked baggage now in our custody is associated with your booking, we will contact you to arrange its return. If we have not contacted you, that means that recovery efforts for your checked baggage are still underway. Please complete the Baggage Recovery form below.

Depending on your location, the following options may be available to you:

Collect your baggage in person in Riyadh, personally or through a nominated representative, from the designated Riyadh Air storage location (View location) between 08:00–22:00 daily;
Collect your baggage in person from our local representative, personally or through a nominated representative, if you are located in the city area of a destination served by us. Further details on collection formalities and timeframes will be provided to you if this option is applicable based on your location;
Request baggage delivery to your nominated address, if you are outside Riyadh and it is not possible to arrange collection from one of our local representatives.

We understand how important it is to be reunited with your belongings. Every effort will be made to return your baggage without unnecessary delay.

Please carefully note the following:

If you are one of the guests affected by this policy, please fill out the form available here and choose the “Baggage Recovery” option at the top of the page.
If you are collecting your checked baggage in person, you will be required to present your Passport or National ID, along with booking details and your baggage tag receipt (if available).
If a representative is collecting your checked baggage on your behalf, he/she must present:
- His/Her Passport or National ID;
- A signed authorization letter from you authorizing him/her to collect your checked baggage on your behalf
- A copy of your Passport or National ID attached to the authorization letter
If you are outside Riyadh, we will inform you whether collection in person from our local representative is available or whether the baggage will need to be delivered to you.
If we arrange delivery of your checked baggage, note that delivery timelines will depend on the destination and courier operations. We will make every effort to return your baggage as quickly as possible. For security purposes, the delivery agent will verify your ID before releasing the baggage.

To ensure prompt communications, please ensure that your contact details (telephone number and email address) are fully up to date on your Riyadh Air order. If your booking was made via a travel agent, please contact your travel agent to update your contact details on the order.
